Job summary

Capital Distributing is seeking a full-time merchandiser to travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets across local routes in Texas. You will stock, display, rotate, and maintain product levels on the floor and in backrooms, using pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.

The role requires 18+ and reliable vehicle access, with a starting pay of $19/hour plus overtime and mileage reimbursement. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision; PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or meet minimum state age requirements.
• Must have reliable personal automobile, valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks/loading tools.
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to stock, display, rotate, and maintain products across assigned routes.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company systems for routing compliance, efficiency, and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload display/backstock photos to document execution in accounts.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support inventory levels and product freshness.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Shift: Full-time, 5:00 am - 6:00 am start time, weekend availability required

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience
