Responsibilities
- Manage inventory, purchase supplies and ingredients, update the beverage menu based on trends and inventory changes, and ensure proper menu pricing to maintain Beverage Cost.
- Hire and train staff on food and drink preparation, health and safety, and alcoholic beverage service.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for the bar team at all times, adhering to budget guidelines.
- Provide guests with a positive dining experience, including elements of surprise and delight when possible.
- Enforce health and safety standards and food safety compliance, educate staff on proper food handling, storage, presentation, hand washing, and protective clothing.
- Ensure the bar team has comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage ingredients.
- Continuously train the bar team to deliver luxury service.
- Support the bar team in proper opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain proper stock levels for all items needed during shifts.
- Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met during their dining experience.
- Conduct daily meetings with the bar team to review operations and beverage offerings.
- Assist with overall restaurant management, including floor shifts, bartender support, and wine recommendations.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local beverage regulations.
- Monitor beverage inventory levels through frequent checks and complete monthly inventory reports.
- Attend necessary meetings (e.g., BEO, Rallies, Leadership).
- Partner with the Events team to assist with beverage ordering for events.
- Keep beverage storage areas organized and secure at all times.
Compensation
Pay Range: $65,000/year - $75,000/year

Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of wines, champagne, fortified wines, beer, and spirits.
- Deep understanding of current beverage service procedures, trends, wine tools, and culture.
- Experience curating a cellar and developing beverage menus.
- Certified or holds an Advanced Diploma from Court of Master Sommeliers or WSET equivalent.
