Job summary

Nemacolin is seeking a Beverage Manager to lead the resort’s beverage identity, shaping wine and cocktail service and building a capable, hospitality‑driven team. You will drive daily operations, manage budgeting and purchasing, and partner with culinary leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences across outlets.

You will mentor staff, uphold standards, and develop a culture of continuous learning while balancing financial priorities and guest satisfaction in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years beverage or restaurant management experience.
  • 3+ years bartending experience.
  • Ability to complete required skill testing with near-perfect scores.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain RAMP certification and comply with PA alcohol service requirements.
  • Basic mathematical ability with financial systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to review and comprehend necessary documentation.

Job description

A thoughtful beverage program adds depth, character, and connection to every dining experience. As Beverage Manager, you help shape Nemacolin’s beverage identity through knowledgeable wine and cocktail service, thoughtful product stewardship, and the development of a team that brings confidence and hospitality to every guest and member interaction. You lead the daily performance of beverage outlets while balancing associate development, service readiness, purchasing, inventory, and financial priorities. Through your expertise and hands‑on leadership, you help create memorable experiences, strengthen beverage relationships, and build sustainable results for the department and the resort.

What You Will Create
  • A distinctive and memorable beverage experience by elevating wine and cocktail knowledge, guiding tastings, and providing hands‑on leadership across beverage outlets
  • A confident, knowledgeable, and engaged beverage team by attracting, developing, scheduling, mentoring, and retaining associates across bartending, cocktail service, and sommelier functions
  • Consistent beverage standards across outlets by strengthening product knowledge, service expectations, operational readiness, and follow‑through on department priorities
  • A reliable and thoughtfully managed beverage program by maintaining appropriate par levels, inventory controls, ordering guides, purchasing practices, and product availability
  • Sustainable financial and revenue performance by identifying opportunities for growth, managing purchases within established guidelines, reviewing financial information, and balancing product quality with responsible resource management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to effectively use required office equipment and applications
