Job summary

Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Lead for Lollicup operations on the Pomona campus. You will lead shifts, train teammates, and ensure beverages are prepared to established recipes while maintaining safety and service standards.

The role emphasizes customer service, food safety, inventory awareness, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of job-related experience; previous food service or beverage service experience required.
• Current Food Handler certification or ability to obtain required certification.
• Demonstrates leadership and the ability to provide direction to employees.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to learn and consistently follow standardized beverage recipes and procedures.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must be organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous Lollicup, boba/beverage, or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Lollicup employees during assigned shifts.
• Assign daily tasks and oversee opening, service, and closing responsibilities.
• Train and coach employees on beverage preparation, recipes, customer service, food safety, sanitation, and proper procedures.
• Ensure beverages and other products are prepared according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
• Monitor product quality and consistency.
• Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of counters, equipment, sinks, storage areas, and customer-facing areas.
