Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dish room or fast-paced service environment.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and provide respectful direction.
• Ability to follow safety, food-safety, and chemical-label procedures.
• Ability to stay organized and calm in a busy, wet environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and move dishware throughout shifts.
• Dependable, punctual, proactive in asking questions and communicating concerns.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead dish room employees during meal service.
• Support safe operation of the dish machine and report problems.
• Train and coach team on dish room procedures, safety, PPE, and footwear.
• Monitor cleanliness and safe work practices in the dish area.
• Assist with scraping, sorting, loading, unloading, and storing dishes and equipment.
• Communicate supply needs and operational issues to the supervisor.
