Job summary

Pittston Co-Packers is seeking a Field Sales Manager for the San Diego area to drive in-store execution, support distributors, and develop outlets in the Southern California market.

You will lead route-to-market efforts, ensure shelf and POS execution, and collaborate with field marketing to maximize sell-through and distributor success. A valid license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of beverage/CPG/DSD or field sales experience.
• Experience calling on independent stores and local retail teams.
• Ability to travel within territory and report diligently.
• Strong attention to shelf standards and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Execute store visits per approved route plans and target outlet lists.
• Drive in-store compliance, shelf placement, cold placement, display execution, pricing compliance, and POS placement.
• Support distributor pull-through to convert new placements into repeat orders and visible sell-through.
• Open, reactivate, and defend target independent and chain accounts where Eastroc has route and account support.
• Document competitor activity, pricing, availability, account issues, and market feedback in the required reporting system.
• Support demos, blitzes, distributor ride-withs, and local activations with field marketing and broader sales leadership.
