Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, a leading beverage distributor, seeks a Sales Trainee to learn SGWS products, consultative selling, and service customers. You'll support senior staff and the Area Sales Manager while building customer relationships and learning account planning.

You must be capable of analyzing data, presenting solutions, and traveling as needed. This role offers extensive training, advancement potential, and a comprehensive benefits package in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• State Sales Permit required or able to obtain
• Ability to analyze and understand data and information
• Proficient with SGWS technology and systems
• Capable of building and structuring customer presentations and proposals
• Proficient with mobile devices and online communication tools
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly
• Able to adapt to change and be nimble in ambiguity
• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel as needed
• Minimum age of 21 and high school diploma/GED attained

Responsibilities

• Learn SGWS products, industry and consultative sales.
• Support senior sales employees and Area Sales Manager.
• Build positive customer relationships based on trust.
• Preplan account visits with agendas and selling opportunities.
• Develop customer growth plans for each account.
• Analyze data to drive sales and growth.
• Maintain pipeline of selling opportunities.
• Visit accounts regularly and document notes.
• Maintain knowledge of SGWS products and positioning.
• Propose solutions and win sales through consultative selling.
