Honda Development & Manufacturing of America seeks a New Model Purchasing Project Manager in Raymond, OH. You will lead procurement project management for full vehicle model changes, including BEV programs, directing multi-million BOM cost targets and investments.

You will guide purchasing teams from concept to mass production, mature BOM costs, and present executive summaries to senior leaders across PSCC and ADC. Strong negotiation and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 8+ years of purchasing PM or automotive new model development experience.
• Thorough mastery of BOM, cost systems, and design change processes.
• Strong negotiation and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full vehicle model change purchasing teams from concept to mass production.
• Direct BOM cost maturation and cost correlations across programs.
• Prepare executive cost and investment summaries for top management.
• Negotiate milestones and cost changes with R&D and engineering leaders.
• Supervise procurement staff and establish MP budgets.
