Honda is seeking a procurement leader to take the helm of new model activity in the North American Power Sports & Products group. You will manage parts lists, schedules, cost targets, and countermeasures to ensure profitable model programs and accurate budget attainment.

You will report monthly to PS&P leadership and collaborate with design, project management, cost innovation, and manufacturing to maintain reporting accuracy and drive improvements. Some travel and overtime may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience with degree or 9+ years without degree, preferably in PS&P or Automotive.
• Knowledge of Honda Purchasing systems; proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint; SQL/QMF.
• Ability to lead projects and interdepartmental activity with senior leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead procurement through new model development: parts list, schedule, budget checks, countermeasure planning.
• Prepare monthly roll ups to division leadership on critical issues and progress toward goals.
• Coordinate with purchasing, design, project management, cost innovation, and manufacturing on report accuracy; assess downstream impacts of countermeasures.
• Execute special projects to improve procurement KPIs.
• Train team leaders and buyers on event accuracy checks.
