Honda Development & Manufacturing of America seeks a New Model Purchasing Project Manager in Raymond, OH. You will lead procurement project management for full vehicle model changes, including BEV programs, directing multi-million BOM cost targets and investments.

You will guide purchasing teams from concept to mass production, mature BOM costs, and present executive summaries to senior leaders across PSCC and ADC. Strong negotiation and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 8+ years of purchasing PM or automotive new model development experience.
• Thorough mastery of BOM, cost systems, and design change processes.
• Strong negotiation and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a New Model Purchasing Project Manager in Raymond, OH. You will lead procurement project management for full vehicle model changes—including next-generation Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV)—directing multi-million dollar BOM cost targets and investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full vehicle model change purchasing project teams (BEV and ICE programs) from concept to mass production.
• Direct Bill of Materials (BOM) cost maturation, maker layout communication, and database cost correlations.
• Prepare and present executive cost and investment summaries to top management across PSCC and ADC.
• Negotiate project timeline milestones and cost change reconciliations with R&D design and engineering leaders.
• Supervise procurement systems associates and manage cost systems establishing new model MP budgets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Finance, or Accounting.
• 8+ years of purchasing project management or automotive new model development experience.
• Thorough mastery of automotive Bill of Materials (BOM), cost systems, and design change processes.
• Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and executive presentation capabilities.
• US work authorization without employer sponsorship required.
