Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking a Project Manager to support assigned construction projects in Florida. The role oversees contractor coordination, budget and schedule adherence, and safety performance at the project site, with occasional travel up to 25%.

You will assess productivity, validate work against design requirements, manage resources, and report on progress to the management committee. A strong engineering or related background and 6–10 years of project execution experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 6–10 years of project execution management experience.
• Experience coordinating vendors/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on assigned projects.
• Participate in walk downs of planned work and validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements.
• Review contractor payment requests and verify constructability.
• Ensure proper resource allocation, assess field status, and resolve issues as needed.
• Coordinate project activities with vendors, regulators, local authorities, and the company.
• Assist in scope control, budget oversight, resolution of technical issues, performance reporting, scheduling, and WIP.
• Interface with landowners, local regulators, and state agencies.
• Reinforce expectations related to safety, procedure compliance, lessons learned, corrective action, and appropriate work behaviors.
• Coordinate activities across safety programs, engineering, construction, budget, analytics, and contract administration.
• Interface with the project's designated management committee.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
