Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. seeks a BESS Field Service Technician to perform field service activities on Battery Energy Storage Systems and related equipment from installation through long-term O&M. This hands-on role supports troubleshooting, upgrades, and safety-compliant service delivery.

The position involves travel up to 50%, collaboration with site teams, and a path toward Senior FSE or Site Lead roles. Strong electrical/mechanical skills and CMMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical/power/renewable energy environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with field service and customer interaction.
• Familiarity with CMMS/SAP/Maximo/ServiceNow/Salesforce for work orders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work off-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service on BESS and related equipment, from installation to O&M.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance with adherence to safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, replace components, and restore systems under guidance.
• Support remote technical assistance and customer education.
• Document work in service tools and update work orders.
• Collaborate with site teams and subcontractors for safe execution.
