Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. seeks a Contract BESS Field Service Technician to perform field service from installation through warranty. You will conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, and support upgrades, collaborating with Senior FSEs, site teams, and customers.

This hands-on role offers growth toward Senior FSE or Site Lead, requires travel up to 50%, and a commitment to safe, high‑quality service delivery across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of electrical testing and measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Experience supporting hardware and software troubleshooting activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own availability and service‑level commitments for assigned sites during service activities.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BESS and ancillary equipment.
• Support troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacement under guidance.
• Assist with software/firmware upgrades and routine system checks.
• Document work performed and observations in service tools/work orders.
• Collaborate with Senior FSEs, site teams, and customers to ensure safety and quality.
