Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. in Buckeye, AZ seeks a Field Service Technician (Contractor) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at remote sites, under supervision of a Field Service Engineer.

Some travel to regional sites may be required; this is a hands-on outdoor role. Must have basic mechanical/electrical aptitude, document maintenance activities with digital tools, follow safety protocols, and work well in a team while learning new

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to document maintenance activities and report deficiencies using digital platforms.
• Basic electrical fundamentals and use of test equipment.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on BESS, inverters, and fire suppression systems.
• Identify and report quality issues.
• Troubleshoot systems and replace components.
• Operate heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting.
• Work safely on ladders and elevated platforms.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including software/firmware updates.
• Interface with computer systems and HMI on BESS.
• Adhere to safety protocols and seek guidance when unfamiliar with tasks.
• Collaborate respectfully in a team and learn new technologies.
