Job summary

Clean Energy Services (CES) is seeking a BESS Field Technician 1 to support safe operation and maintenance of utility-scale battery energy storage systems across project sites. The role travels between CES locations, participates in on-call rotations, and reports to site leadership with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have 0a01 year of electrical/industrial experience, a valid drivers license, and the ability to log work in digital maintenance systems.

Qualifications

• 0a0year(s) of electrical, wind, solar, construction, or industrial experience
• Demonstrated commitment to following safety procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew and take direction from senior technicians
• Basic computer skills to log work in digital maintenance systems daily
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to sites and work at multiple CES locations

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance of battery systems, power conversion equipment, and balance-of-plant components
• Support inspections of battery modules, rack systems, and cooling systems
• Assist with maintenance of high/medium-voltage equipment under supervision
• Respond to alarms and participate in on-call rotations
• Complete work orders and record readings, serial numbers, and fault codes
