Job summary

Responsibilities include performing basic electrical calculations, reviewing RFPs, collaborating with business development and estimating teams, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• EIT certification or on track to obtain it.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including wire sizing and current calculations.
• Knowledge of building codes, engineering principles, and industry best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Commitment to safety and a strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Create preliminary BESS layouts and single line diagrams using templates.
• Review bid drawings for internal standards and document differences.
• Review RFPs and evaluate against our standard designs; communicate unique specifications to necessary parties.
• Work with Business Development and Estimating to respond to RFPs.
• Performs basic electrical calculations to support design.
• Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Research and stay current on NEC and NFPA 855 and other codes.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with other engineering teams.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications; maintain revision history.
