Masdar is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects in the UK. You will manage programme, cost, quality and contractual compliance while coordinating EPC, BoP, BESS OEM, ICP and key subcontractors.

Join Masdar’s centralised BESS Delivery vertical to drive governance improvements, grid integration, and timely handover to Asset Management. UK CDM execution and strong commercial focus are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–10 years’ experience delivering utility-scale energy infrastructure.
• Direct experience in BESS projects HV substations and EPC contract administration.
• Strong commercial acumen and programme management capability.
• Ability to challenge EPC/OEM contractors effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the safe, compliant delivery of utility-scale BESS projects from financial close through construction and handover to Asset Management.
• Manage programme, cost, quality, contractual compliance and grid integration per Masdar governance and UK regulations.
• Coordinate EPC, BoP, BESS OEM, ICP and key subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee design development, technical integration, and validation of performance testing.
• Administer EPC/BoP/BESS contracts and review contractor applications for payment.
• Maintain risk registers and ensure recovery plans for critical paths.
