Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking BESS Commissioning Managers for contract assignments on nationwide grid-scale battery energy storage projects. You will lead commissioning of the full battery system, covering PCS, BMS, EMS, controls and grid compliance testing.

You will own the commissioning plan, procedures and schedule, coordinate with OEMs, energisation and performance testing, and work with offtaker and asset management teams to demonstrate grid readiness.

Qualifications

• Commissioning leadership experience on grid-scale battery energy storage systems.
• Detailed knowledge of PCS, BMS, EMS and battery system architecture.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR.
• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the BESS commissioning plan, procedures and schedule
• Lead PCS, BMS, EMS and controls commissioning in coordination with OEMs
• Manage energisation, capacity testing and grid compliance demonstration
• Coordinate with the offtaker, utility and asset management team on performance testing
