Job summary

BW ESS is seeking a results-driven asset manager to own performance, optimisation, and operations for German BESS assets. You will monitor and optimise revenue across balancing, intraday, and day-ahead markets while collaborating with internal teams, RTM providers, OEMs, and market counterparties.

Fluent in German and English, you bring 3+ years in BESS or renewables and a strong mix of data, contract, and regulatory skills to drive efficiency and value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BESS, renewables, or power asset management.
• Fluent in German and English, strong data and contract skills.
• Technical and commercial insight into German energy markets.

Responsibilities

• Own performance, optimisation, and operations for German BESS assets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, RTM providers, OEMs, and market counterparties.
• Monitor SCADA/EMS data to identify and resolve underperformance.
• Manage service contracts, budgets, warranties, and regulatory compliance.
• Optimise revenue across balancing, intraday, and day-ahead markets.
