Job summary

Wizeline seeks a BESS Performance Engineer to join the Asset Management team across the United States. You will lead performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting for standalone BESS and solar-plus-storage assets, including AC- and DC-coupled configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field as listed.
• 3–5 years of experience in performance engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting for standalone BESS and PV+BESS assets across a distributed generation portfolio.
• Develop and monitor KPIs including RTE, SOH, SOC, auxiliary power consumption and system availability.
• Create degradation models and predictive analytics to forecast battery life and optimize charging/discharging cycles.
• Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale SCADA, DAS, telemetry data to identify underperforming assets and propose fixes.
• Collaborate with Data Science to integrate telemetry into enterprise platforms and automate reporting pipelines.
• Evaluate solar-plus-storage performance impacts when transitioning to AC- and DC-coupled configurations.
