Job summary

FlexGen, based in Durham, NC, seeks an Asset Manager to optimize the availability and performance of battery energy storage systems under LTSA. You will collaborate with OEMs, internal teams, and customers to monitor performance, schedule maintenance, and resolve issues to maximize reliability and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in asset management, operations, or technical services, preferably in BESS, renewable energy, or power systems.
• Strong understanding of BESS technology, energy storage systems, and grid operations.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CMMS software for issue tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the post-commissioning lifecycle of BESS assets, ensuring LTSA requirements are met.
• Drive uptime, availability, and performance for customer energy storage assets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer asset performance, providing regular updates on availability, maintenance schedules, and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate asset management records, including maintenance activities, KPIs, and system health reports.
