Job summary

FlexGen, based in Durham, NC, seeks an Asset Manager for the Lifecycle Solutions team. You will oversee LTSA-enabled lifecycle management of battery energy storage systems, coordinate maintenance and updates, and drive reliability and profitability for customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in asset management, operations, or technical services
Strong understanding of BESS technology, energy storage systems, and grid operations
Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CMMS software for issue tracking and reporting
Excellent communication skills interfacing with customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders
Strong analytical skills to interpret system data and drive performance improvements
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Responsibilities

Oversee the post-commissioning lifecycle of BESS assets and LTSA requirements
Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and field services to minimize downtime and maximize availability
Monitor performance data and coordinate software updates with internal teams and customers
Maintain asset records, KPIs, and health reports using CMMS and Salesforce
