Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Pouring drinks when the slip printer produces an order, serving food at the bar, preparing condiments, changing beer and tonic kegs, and general cleaning of the work area
• Maintaining a clean and neat work environment — tables, floor, chairs, service station
• Assisting other employees as needed
• Pre-bussing tables
• Stocking liquor and bar items following delivery
• Preparing and replenishing bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware for daily activity
• Maintaining and balancing cash drawer, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions
• Serving alcohol responsibly, observing customer intoxication levels, and adhering to alcohol service guidelines
• Rotating stock
• Preparing drinks, batch recipes, and mixing to product specifications

Requirements

Preferred skills include sales skills and responsible alcohol service. Position requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift 25-30 lbs
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to stand and be active for a 9-hour shift
• Effective communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
