Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of appetizers, sandwiches, calzones, pizza, grilled, and pasta dishes according to Bertucci's specifications.
• Knowledgeable in all behind-the-line areas to ensure flexible scheduling.
• Food rotation, set-up, break-down, stocking wood, presentation of products, and cleaning utensils and work area.
• Prepare food accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the temperature of ovens, coolers, and freezers are accurate.
• Inspect stock levels and review prep sheets with the manager to establish daily prep list.
• Store, unpack, and retrieve food items appropriately.
• Monitor and report malfunctioning equipment.
• Prepare food according to safety policies, demonstrating correct use of equipment and utensils, and maintaining cleanliness.
