Role Description

Responsible for preparing appetizers, sandwiches, calzones, pizza, grilled, and pasta dishes according to Bertucci's specifications.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in all behind-the-line areas to facilitate flexible scheduling
• Food rotation, setup, breakdown, stocking, presentation, and cleaning
• Prepare food accurately and timely
• Ensure proper temperatures of ovens, coolers, and freezers
• Inspect stock levels and review prep sheets with the manager
• Store, unpack, and retrieve food items appropriately
• Monitor and report equipment malfunctions
• Follow safety policies and proper use of equipment
• Maintain sanitary work area in compliance with health standards
