Job summary

Fiesta Chevrolet seeks a Mobile Service Technician to drive a dealer-provided service vehicle to customers' homes or workplaces for on-site maintenance and light repairs. You will perform oil changes, diagnostics, and routine service with photography/video documentation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and 2+ years of automotive service experience; ASE preferred. A valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification preferred.
• 2+ years automotive service experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to scheduled appointments within a 25–50 mile radius.
• Perform mobile maintenance and light repairs at customer sites.
• Verify concerns, diagnose, and recommend safe repairs with photos/video.
• Close out work using a tablet-based workflow (estimates, approvals, notes, photos).
• Maintain van inventory and restock parts as needed.
• Deliver 5-star customer experiences with clear communication and a tidy job site.
• Track KPIs such as first-time fix rate, CSI, and upsell attachments.
• Follow Bert Ogden policies and assist with events as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Mobile Service Technician will drive a dealer-provided service vehicle to customers' homes or workplaces to perform maintenance and light repairs on-site.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Travel to scheduled appointments within a 25-to-50-mile radius
• Perform mobile services, such as changing oil, filters, batteries, brakes, tires/ rotations, wipers, fluid exchanges, inspections, bulb replacements, diagnostic scans, software reset, and updates (as applicable)
• Verify concerns, diagnose, and recommend safe transparent repairs with photo/video
• Close out work using a tablet-based workflow (estimates, approvals, parts usage, notes, photos)
• Maintain van inventory as needed
• Request parts and restock the van as needed
• Follows spill prevention and environmental procedures
• Keep a clean safe mobile workspace
• Deliver 5-star customer experiences with clear communication, professional appearances, and a tidy job site
• Track and meet KPI's by arriving on time, first time fixed rate, quality/comeback rate, CSI, and upsell attachments
• Support occasional special events and fleet days. Collaborate with service and parts teams
• Follow technician procedures and processes aligned with Bert Ogden policies
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Strong skills in maintenance, light mechanical (breaks, batteries, tires, filters, fluids) and basic diagnostics
• Excellent customer service communication
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• General mechanical skills
• Manual Dexterity
• Good judgment

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, stooping, and reaching
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, noise, and chemicals
• Occasional lifting, standing, crawling, reaching, use of stairs
• Occasional attendance at social gatherings
• Ability to travel
