Zusammenfassung

BAYADA Hospice is seeking a compassionate Bereavement Coordinator to lead bereavement services across the Pennsylvania market. You will develop programs, provide education and emotional support, and ensure families receive compassionate care after loss.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, train volunteers, and help maintain compliant documentation while representing BAYADA in community outreach. Travel across PA offices is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Experience in hospice, palliative care, grief counseling, or bereavement services strongly preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop educational materials and facilitate presentations or support groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Commitment to BAYADA’s values of compassion, excellence, and reliability.
• Ability to travel throughout the Pennsylvania market to support multiple offices.

Aufgaben

• Lead and oversee bereavement services, including staff and volunteer coordination.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support families through the grieving process.
• Create educational resources and support materials for families, staff, and community members.
• Plan and facilitate bereavement support groups, memorial services, and community events.
• Monitor bereavement follow-up completed by patient care staff and volunteers to ensure timely, high-quality support.
• Partner with the Volunteer Coordinator to train and integrate volunteers into bereavement services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and guide discussions related to bereavement care.
• Support hospice office operations through collaboration, problem-solving, and on-call coverage as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Represent BAYADA Hospice through community outreach, education, and relationship-building.
