BAYADA Hospice is seeking a Bereavement Coordinator to lead bereavement services across the Pennsylvania market. The role combines grief support with program leadership, staff development, and community outreach to assist families through the grieving process.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create meaningful programs, provide education and emotional support, and ensure families receive compassionate care after a loss. Travel is required to support multiple offices.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Theology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in hospice, palliative care, grief counseling, or bereavement services strongly preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead and oversee bereavement services, including staff and volunteer coordination.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support families through the grieving process.
• Create educational resources and support materials for families, staff, and community members.
• Plan and facilitate bereavement support groups, memorial services, and community events.
• Monitor bereavement follow-up completed by patient care staff and volunteers to ensure timely, high-quality support.
