Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of benefits/payroll experience or equivalent.

• Microsoft Access experience is preferred.
• Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Informs employees and retirees about benefits including life, health and dental insurance, FSAs, HSAs and pre-tax deductions; assists with new employee orientation.
• Assists retirees with benefit enrollment.
• Plans and coordinates wellness programs and attends Wellness Committee activities.
• Provides plan communications and customer service regarding benefit plans; counsels employees and retirees.
• Administers COBRA notifications and ensures compliance for dental insurance; tracks COBRA payments.
