Job summary

Regional Planning & Coordinating Commission of Greene County, Ohio is seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage county health, life, dental, and prescription insurance programs and wellness initiatives for all eligible employees.

The role requires extensive knowledge of benefits programs, policy analysis, and data management, with responsibilities spanning orientation, elections, invoicing, reporting, and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration to include coursework in benefits administration & policy analysis.
• 24 mos. experience in research & analysis of benefits programs & written documentation of findings.
• 24 mos. experience in data management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in benefits administration by conducting new employee orientation and entering elections into the HR/Benefits system.
• Verify and review accurate import of election/dependent data into carrier systems; reconcile with payroll.
• Reconcile monthly carrier invoices with benefit system and payroll; develop and analyze custom system reports.
• Cultivate and increase employee engagement in benefits and wellness programs; conduct trainings and meetings.
