Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Finance, or related studies required.
• 5+ years in HR with benefit programs and leave experience.
• Working knowledge of benefit programs and employee leave.
• Experience with carriers, brokers, and vendors.
• Strong communication, data analysis, attention to detail, teamwork and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee health care, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life, and disability programs.
• Administer annual enrollment and eligibility across a multi-state workforce.
• Partner with consultants, carriers, and vendors for plan design and costs.
• Ensure accurate benefit deductions across HRIS, payroll, carriers, and vendor systems.
• Conduct routine audits for enrollment, eligibility, and discrepancies.
• Support 401(k) retirement plan administration and compliance.
• Coordinate leave programs including FMLA and ADA; train supervisors.
• Manage drug and alcohol testing programs and compliance with DOT/FMCSA.
• Develop Total Rewards communications and wellness programs.
• Analyze benefits costs, participation, and claims; report findings.
