Job summary

AMSTED Industries in Chicago is seeking a Manager, Employee Benefits to lead the administration and compliance of our global benefits programs within the Total Rewards team.

You will partner with HR, Finance and vendors to design cost-effective plans, analyze data, and ensure regulatory alignment with HIPAA, ERISA, ACA and FMLA. This role blends strategy with hands-on program management in a changing benefits landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in compensation & benefits.
• Knowledge of benefits laws and regulations.
• Experience with HRIS is a plus.
• Certification such as CEBS or CCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead benefits system configuration and administration.
• Manage day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, leave and disability, life insurance, retirement, wellness, and other perquisites.
• Partner with HRIS, payroll, and finance teams to ensure data integrity and successful integrations; support budget planning and vendor negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, FLSA, FMLA, and other applicable regulations; monitor regulatory developments.
• Analyze claims, utilization, and enrollment data to identify trends and opportunities for program optimization.
• Communicate benefits programs and changes to employees and HR Managers; lead change management initiatives.
