Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of progressive benefits experience.
• Experience leading or supporting annual benefits renewals.
• Experience managing broker and vendor relationships.
• Experience with self-funded health plans.
• Strong analytical, project leadership, and decision-making using data.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual benefits renewal planning, strategy development, and implementation.
• Partner with brokers, carriers, consultants, and benefit vendors to develop and execute benefits strategies, leveraging claims, utilization, and cost analytics.
• Develop recommendations related to plan design, employee contributions, and cost-containment initiatives.
• Support benefits reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Partner with retirement plan advisors, recordkeepers, and vendors to support MCA's 401(k) governance and employee education.
• Oversee wellness, advocacy, healthcare navigation, and employee well-being programs.
• Lead Open Enrollment strategy, employee communications, and benefits education initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other applicable regulations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the Benefits Specialist.
• Support benefits-related projects, system enhancements, and acquisition integration activities.
