Job summary

Smartstartofmeck is seeking a Benefits Manager to oversee administration, compliance, and daily operations of employee benefits programs. You will manage vendor relationships, benefits platforms, audits, and provide support to employees on benefit plans.

The role requires partnerships with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to deliver compliant benefits programs and enhance the employee experience. Hybrid work arrangement and strong analytical skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
• CEBS or SHRM/PHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage administration of all employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and leave programs.
• Oversee benefits enrollment, eligibility verification, COBRA administration, and data reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and other benefits-related requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field

CEBS, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, or related certification
