AbbVie seeks a skilled HRConnect - Benefits Specialist to join our HR Operations team in the United States. You will support US benefits administration, partner with external vendors, advocate for employees on health care issues, and oversee health plan administration.

This role also handles benefits enrollment, relocations, data for plan audits, and confidential information with discretion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business is required or recommended.
• 3 years of experience in Benefits.
• Strong customer service skills with focus on providing exceptional support to employees.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to communicate HR information to all levels.
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve inquiries.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to active and retired employees in the United States for escalated health and welfare issues.
• Assist in benefits enrollment and administration for international relocations.
• Furnish data and documentation for plan audits and projects.
• Oversee issues and data discrepancies with health and welfare vendors.
• Offer payroll assistance to address inquiries related to benefits.
• Compile data and documentation for plan audits and projects.
• Complete audits related to health and welfare plans as needed.
• Participate in HRConnect initiatives, projects and goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
