Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a meticulous HRConnect - Benefits Specialist to support US benefits administration within the HR Operations group. You will partner with external vendors, assist employees with health care issues, and drive accuracy in health plan administration.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in HR or business and have 3 years of Benefits experience. You will handle confidential information, provide exceptional service, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business preferred.
• 3 years of experience in Benefits.
• Strong customer service skills with focus on exceptional support to employees.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS systems a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve inquiries.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced level US benefits support for active and retired employees.
• Assist in benefits enrollment and administration for international relocations.
• Prepare data and documentation for plan audits and projects.
• Oversee data discrepancies with health and welfare vendors.
• Support payroll inquiries related to employee benefits.
• Complete audits of health and welfare plans as needed.
• Participate in HRConnect initiatives and related projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
