Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP is a national law firm that seeks a Benefits Specialist to support the administration of our employee benefits programs and deliver a positive, responsive experience for staff across the firm.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-focused, and capable of managing benefits data, employee inquiries, vendor coordination, and enrollment processes with accuracy and discretion. The position can be based in Cincinnati, OH; Indianapolis, IN; or Louisville, KY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting employee benefits, enrollment and plan administration.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee questions regarding benefit programs and enrollment processes.
• Maintain employee and benefit data in ADP Workforce Now for HR transactions.
• Coordinate with benefit plan vendors for enrollment and data updates.
• Backup resource for employee leave administration and related data.
• Coordinate benefit deductions with Payroll and resolve discrepancies.
• Administer firm-sponsored benefit programs and plan communications.
• Prepare monthly and annual benefit reports and COBRA payments reconciliation.
• Conduct new hire benefits orientation and timely enrollment completion.
• Prepare termination letters and coordinate COBRA entries.
