Job summary

The Addison Group is hiring a Benefits Specialist for a well-established national organization in Montgomery County, PA. This hybrid role will serve as the primary benefits contact for employees and retirees, guiding them through benefits, life events, and leave, while supporting retirement plans and COBRA administration.

You will join a small, experienced team led by a tenured benefits leader and play a key role in improving benefits programs, with the potential for contract-to-hire and growth

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR.
• Leave of absence experience (FMLA, LTD, state leave) preferred.
• Experience with an HRIS; Dayforce is a plus.
• CEBS or SHRM-CP, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for benefits, enrollment, COBRA, and retirement questions.
• Process qualifying life events and coordinate with Payroll on premium adjustments.
• Work with a third-party COBRA administrator to manage coverage and enrollments.
• Process National Medical Support Notices.
• Support leave of absence administration, including LTD and state disability and family leave claims.
• Help administer retirement and pension plans.
• Keep process and training documentation current, and contribute to benefits projects.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR
• Leave of absence experience (FMLA, LTD, state leave), strongly preferred
• Experience with an HRIS. Dayforce is a plus, but all platforms are welcome.
• A customer-service mindset and strong communication skills
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• CEBS or SHRM-CP, a plus
