Job summary

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field or experience that demonstrates knowledge and abilities.
• Experience with benefits administration and payroll coordination.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong data management and analytical skills related to HR benefits.
• Experience with CSU systems and related databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits and retirement programs, including leave-related matters.
• Research, analyze, and resolve benefit-related data of moderate complexity.
• Maintain benefit data in automated systems (PeopleSoft, CHRS, PIMS, MyCalPERS).
• Prepare benefit plan documents, enrollment changes, and related transactions.
• Coordinate with Payroll and other staff to resolve benefit payroll discrepancies.
• Assist with audits, reports, and data reviews for employee benefits.
• Participate in new employee benefits orientations and education activities.
