Harvard University Central Administration (CADM) seeks a Benefits Analyst to manage and optimize ancillary benefit programs, vendor relationships, and data-driven plan improvements. The role supports compliance, reporting, and process enhancements across Total Rewards.

The position is hybrid with a 35-hour workweek, requiring on-campus presence monthly and security in handling confidential information. 5+ years of benefits experience and ERISA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant benefits experience.
• Analytical and numeric skills with strong reporting ability.
• Knowledge of ERISA and related laws and regulations.
• Strong vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and review benefit programs; document and implement processes.
• Vendor management for select programs; manage invoices and claims.
• Review reports, identify trends, and propose plan improvements.
• Assist employees with benefits and claims processing.
• Develop processes to improve efficiency and participant experience.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
