Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Vendor Management and Benefits Administration professional to oversee complex benefits programs for our client organizations in the Richmond, VA area. The role focuses on governance, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize wellness and voluntary benefit programs.

You will manage SLAs, support RFP/RFI processes, and lead escalations while working with vendors and internal partners to drive program improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and drive work forward with internal and external partners.
• Experience or capability in vendor management and governance.
• Ability to monitor SLAs and performance guarantees.
• Ability to manage vendor compliance, risk assessments, and data share requests.
• Ability to create analytics and use benchmarking data for program improvements.
• Ability to manage benefit plan administration and implementation changes.
• Ability to resolve complex, tier-3 employee escalations.
• Ability to support RFP and RFI processes, evaluate vendor bids, and participate in stakeholder reviews.
• Knowledge of benefits products, industry innovations, and regulatory changes.
• Ability to author and maintain standard operating procedures.
• New applicants must not require employer sponsorship for employment authorization.

Responsibilities

• Manage health, wellness, voluntary benefit, and vendor programs across clinics, pharmacies, and other services.
• Build trust-based relationships with vendors and cross-functional partners.
• Monitor vendor adherence to SLAs and performance guarantees.
• Execute vendor management tasks with Enterprise Supplier Management to ensure compliance.
• Analyze vendor data and recommend program improvements.
• Own complex tier-3 employee escalations and resolution.
• Prepare monthly benefits and wellbeing communications.
• Support RFPs and RFIs and participate in vendor reviews.
