Develop new business opportunities by reaching out to prospective clients and introducing Huff Insurance’s benefits solutions.
Meet with employers to learn about their goals, their workforce, and the coverage options that may fit them best.
Prepare and present benefits proposals that are clear, thoughtful, and tailored to each client’s needs.
Guide clients through the sales process from first conversation through enrollment and renewal.
Work closely with internal partners to make sure client transitions and enrollments are handled smoothly.
Maintain accurate records of activity, conversations, and opportunities in the sales system.
Stay informed on benefit trends, carrier offerings, and industry updates so you can speak confidently with clients.
Support long-term client relationships by providing responsive follow-up and dependable service.
Proven sales experience, ideally in employee benefits, insurance, or a related client-facing role.
Strong knowledge of group benefits products, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and employees.
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and approachable style.
Comfort with prospecting, developing leads, and managing a sales pipeline.
Self-motivated work style with the ability to stay organized and follow through on commitments.
Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, or similar business software.
Valid insurance license or the ability to obtain one, if required by the role.
Experience with benefits enrollment platforms or quoting tools is a plus.
Knowledge of the Pasadena, Maryland market or surrounding area is preferred.
