Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks a Benefits Manager to lead the administration of employee benefits programs, including the 401(k) plan, in Dallas, TX. The role reports to the VP of Human Resources and partners with brokers, vendors, and HR leadership to ensure compliance and effective program design.

You will supervise a benefits team, manage enrollment communications, and support employees with inquiries while staying current on ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ADA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in benefits management.
• Experience supervising a team is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ADA.
• Experience with self-insured and fully insured plans.
• Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration software.

Responsibilities

• Administers employee benefit programs and 401k plan with compliance.
• Manages leaves of absence per federal/state laws.
• Designs and implements new benefit programs.
• Coordinates with brokers, carriers, vendors.
• Oversees open enrollment and employee communications.
• Provides support on benefits questions and eligibility.
• Ensures compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, ADA.
• Manages a team of benefits support staff.
