Job summary

Adams County Colorado seeks a Benefits Administrator to support benefits programs, leave management and accommodations under the Benefits Manager. You will handle daily administration, vendor coordination, and employee inquiries, plus assist with open enrollment and communications.

Three years of benefits administration experience and knowledge of FMLA/ADAAA are required, with UKG payroll system proficiency and strong communication skills. Some travel between county locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in benefits administration including leave of absence and accommodations (ADAAA).
• Ability to interpret federal, state and local laws related to benefits and leaves (FMLA, ADAAA, PWFA).
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and office software; strong data handling and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete day-to-day administration of benefit programs for compliance and accuracy.
• Serve as main point of contact for employee questions and problem resolution.
• Assist Benefits Manager with open enrollment and special projects.
• Administer leave of absence and accommodations, providing expert guidance to managers and staff.
• Deliver excellent customer service and prepare clear communications.
