Collin County seeks a Benefits Representative to manage day-to-day benefits administration for county employees under the Human Resources Risk Manager.

The role covers retirement, medical, dental, life, long-term care, disability and FMLA, handling enrollment, claims, reports, and new-hire paperwork. Strong communication, Excel/Word/Canva skills, and a Texas driver’s license are required; bachelor’s in HR or related field and 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Canva; PeopleSoft experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer benefits for county employees including retirement, medical, dental, life, long-term care, disability, and FMLA.
• Answer benefit questions and provide information to employees.
• Assist with enrollment forms and insurance claims.
• Prepare correspondence and reports.
• Process insurance administration bills and new-hire paperwork.
• Present new-hire orientation.
• Report to Human Resources Risk Manager and handle leave administration.
