Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist to manage leave of absence, accommodations, and disability programs. This role partners with HR, legal, payroll, and vendors to ensure compliant, scalable processes.

The position is on-site in Lone Tree, CO with a hybrid schedule (4 days on site, 5th day remote). Requires 5+ years in LOA/ADA, Workday/ServiceNow experience, and strong communication across all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in leave of absence, ADA, and disability program administration.
• Experience with Workday and ServiceNow is a plus.
• Experience working with third-party disability and leave of absence administrators.
• Ability to execute high-quality work on time with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new processes and streamline existing practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist Benefits team with disability, LOA (continuous or intermittent), return to work, ADA and extended medical leave programs while ensuring compliance with laws.
• Partner with disability/leave of absence vendors and act as liaison between vendor and employees.
• Ensure proper integration of vendor FMLA administration with short-term disability plan; interpret HR policy and legal developments.
• Respond to escalations from employees, managers, vendors, and call centers; work with Legal and HR to resolve time-sensitive issues.

Title: Senior Specialist, Leave of Absence and Accommodations

Location: Lone Tree, CO 80124 / Westlake, TX, 76262

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: On-site on HYBRID SCHED 4 days a week onsite and 5th day remote

Summary:

• This role will focus on providing support for the leave of absence, accommodations, and disability plans and programs that are managed within the benefits team. This includes all aspects of leave of absence administration, accommodations and disability support including research and resolution of complex case escalations, including direct employee, manager, and vendor interactions.


• The ideal candidate will have a background in leave of absence, accommodations and disability plan administration and management including exposure to policies, practices, and legal requirements in the leave of absence and disability management space.


• To ensure efficient and scalable administration of our benefit programs, this role will partner closely with internal and external partners such as the HR contact center, Legal, and Payroll teams as well as third-party vendors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, or other relevant discipline is preferred - equivalent work experience will be considered


• 5+ years of experience working on leave of absence, return to work programs, ADA, extended medical leave programs, short-term disability, long-term disability HR Systems knowledge and experience.


• Experience with Workday and ServiceNow a plus


• Experience working with third-party disability and leave of absence administrators


• Ability to execute high quality work on time Strong organizational and time management skills


• Experience learning new processes and identifying opportunities to streamline and improve existing practices


• Ability to work in a lean, high volume, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
