Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking an Employee Benefit Specialist to serve as the central contact for LOA, disability and FMLA leaves, entering leave data and ensuring accurate records. The role supports HR Manager and plant leaders with benefits and compliance tasks, including 401(k) questions and enrollment processes.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in HR, experience with leave administration, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft applications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a human resources/generalist environment.
• Experience with leave administration (FMLA/ADA) preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage FMLA, Disability and personal leave tasks per policies and legal requirements; enter leave and return dates in the system.
• Serve as the point of contact for employees, benefits and plant leaders; answer questions on leaves, 401(k), and benefit programs.
• Update enrollment and dependent verification data in Workday; coordinate with Corporate Benefits when needed.
