Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks an Employee Benefit Specialist to oversee LOA, disability and FMLA leaves, enter leave data, follow up on issues and upkeep of employee leave files, and assist HR managers with other duties.

You will answer benefit questions, manage enrollment and dependent verification, coordinate with corporate benefits and HR, and ensure accurate data in Workday while supporting safety and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a human resources generalist environment with leave administration knowledge.
• Strong English communication, verbal and written.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Workday preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage FMLA, disability and personal leave tasks per policy.
• Enter leave and return-to-work dates in the system promptly.
• Answer benefit questions and assist with enrollment and claim resolution.
• Coordinate with HR Manager and plant leaders on leave and benefits.
• Act as liaison between employees, carriers and vendors.
