Job summary

Allied Beverage Group, L.L.C. is New Jersey’s largest wine and spirits distributor, based in Elizabeth. The Benefits and Leave Manager leads day-to-day health and leave programs, ensuring compliant, accurate processes in a self-funded environment.

You’ll work with Finance, Payroll, Legal, Operations, and external advisors to support program effectiveness. The role covers open enrollment, vendor management, and educating associates on benefits, retirement, and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Benefits, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in benefits and leave administration.
• Hands-on experience with self-funded plans, claims, and vendor coordination.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day administration of health and welfare benefit programs for union and non-union associates.
• Coordinates leave programs including FMLA, disability, ADA accommodations, and workers’ compensation.
• Handles annual renewals and open enrollment; supports analysis and recommendations for HR leadership.
• Maintains HIPAA privacy and accurate records; coordinates with Finance, Payroll, and Legal as needed.
