Job summary

Allied Beverage Group in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Benefits and Leave Manager to oversee day-to-day administration of health and welfare programs, leave, and retirement plans in a self-funded environment. You will coordinate renewals, open enrollment, vendor relationships, and ensure compliance while delivering education to associates.

Collaborate with the VP of People and Organizational Development, Finance, Payroll, Legal, Operations and external advisors to optimize programs, improve data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, Benefits, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in benefits and leave administration, incl. complex cases.
• Hands-on knowledge of self-funded plans and vendor coordination.
• Experience with ADP, HRIS, and benefits platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of health and welfare programs for union and non-union associates.
• Coordinate leave programs including FMLA, disability, ADA accommodations, and workers’ compensation.
• Administer 401(k) plan operations and retirement education.
• Produce regular compliance reporting and support audits and inquiries.
